A New Trend in Fasion

Home Diary #009/2015

MM Galleri collaborated with Georgia Radji to create a new sensation in marble application on women's fashion design. At the Indobuildtech 2015 exhibition at Jakarta Convention Center, unique designs created with pieces of marble and natural stone. The process involve cutting the stone into sheets as thick as 2 to 3 mm and attaching it using special glue. "It needs caution and requires patience on its own to apply natural stone into lightweight fabric, considering the stone structure is quite rigid, heavy, and at risk of breaking,"  Radji said. Working in fasion since 2006, this is the first time that Radji has used natural stone in his designs. She only have 3 weeks to complete the dress that has attracted the attention of many Indobuildtech 2015 visitors. The three dress in display are Wedding, Cocktail and Ball Gowns.

Peter S. Tjioe, the owner of MM Galleri Group revealed, "The dress designed by Georgia Radji are decorated with various beautiful natural stones from MM Galleri collection. This is the first step to a new fashion trend in Indonesia. MM Galleri will continue to innovate on many demonstration going forward". As a customizable high grade natural stone supplier, MM Galleri has proven to the public that the purpose and creativity in the application of marble is no longer just a piece of stone used for construction.
